This is a must-visit for flower lovers especially those entralled with orchids. This Orchid garden is situated across the Sarawak River on the other side of the Kuching Waterfront. Take the small boat called “water taxi” at the landing facing the imposing State Legislative building, disembark at the jetty and walk for about 200 metres on the main road towards the left and the main entrance of the orchid garden will come into sight.
Entrance is free to this 35-acre garden, which is divided into two main area, the display area and the nursery. According to their record, there are at least 75,000 plants here consisting of 65 genera of orchids. But enough of the descriptions, let the pictures do the talking!
What beautiful pictures. We missed the Orchid Garden when in Kuching so will definitely have to visit.
